Calgarians! What do you want to see?

EDIT: I have recently lowered the number of votes required to approve submissions and new members. I apologize for those submissions that have expired. Previously, to approve anything required three votes, and I believe there were less than three active administrators. Hopefully I've fixed this issue going forward. (Jan 3, 2016)

It's off to a new start for this Calgary art group!  Just in time for the chilly weather to blow in (on Sunday I swear there was a sprinkling of snow on my balcony). I hope everyone's enjoying the fall colours while they last.

Like the journal title says, what would you like to see from this art group?

I would personally love to feature local artists who are attending Otafest // Calgary Comic Expo. If you have an exhibition at ACAD or Art Central, are participating in a local show and sale, or want a shout out for your auction at the Gorilla House, etc., I would be more than willing to give you prominent journal space.  Send me pictures please I check Deviantart almost every day - just shoot Starlitdragon a note and I will get back to you in a timely manner.

Aside from features, I'm pretty open for ideas - contests, cowboys, colourful cows ... anything that screams "CALGARY!!" to you.

If this group starts showing more activity, I will be pleased to add more admins. Should you have an idea for a program / activity you want to run, pitch it and you're more than welcome to jump aboard.
